Our Story
South City Panel Beaters was founded by Steve Bennett in 1978, restoring Dunedin’s vehicles ever since. Today the business is run by his sons, Wayne and Ryan Bennett, bringing over 50 years of combined family experience to every repair.
Our Melbourne Street paint facility opened in 1988, and our Princes Street workshop followed in 1996 – giving us two fully-equipped Dunedin locations. Wayne spent 18 months training in Los Angeles in the 1980s, earning his i-Car qualifications and bringing world-class repair techniques back home.
We treat every car like it’s our own, and every customer like a neighbour, because most of the time, they are.

Warranty Terms
Our lifetime warranty covers all panel and structural repairs, excluding rust repairs (conditions apply). South City Panel Beaters will repair, free of charge, any defect in workmanship, unless caused by negligent vehicle care after repair. The warranty becomes void if repairs are altered by an unauthorised party.
